You can update your Spotify Artist banner via your Spotify for Artists!On Spotify, you can not use any text or promote directly the release on the artist Banner. A good strategy is using the same visual concept as the release. Same photo used on the album cover art for example
Technical specs:
- Use .jpeg, .png, or .gif file formats.
- Avatar images must be at least 750px x 750px.
- Header images must be at least 2660px x 1140px. - Your image can’t be larger than 20MB.
- Don’t include infringing or offensive materials.
- Don’t include text, advertising, or busy backgrounds.
- Don’t promote your upcoming tour or album release
Be sure to set your pitch notes in Spotify For artistsInclude all vital information about the new releaseinclude keywords, BPM and any relevant information for the Spotify team
Step 2Spotify Artist Pick is a great way to promote your new release featuring it on your spotify for artist profile.Please click on the link in order to access you spotify for artist (If you don't have one yet, the system will request you to claim your spotify profile and create give you access to the spotify for artist
Step 3Your playlists are always a good way to promote your own music as well as give insight on music that inspires you!Always be sure to add your new releases to your own playlists. The first 5 songs on the playlists are most played. Do not forget to add your new releases to the top of your playlist. You can also add other songs you like from other artists to the same playlist.
Step 4There are several effective ways to promote your pre-save link on YouTube, detailed below:Go to your youtube channel settings and add the latest pre-save as a link with the name of the release.Be sure to add the pre-save link to any current videos you have on your page. create a post on your Youtube community Create a YouTube short promoting your pre-saveGo into the comments of your videos, perhaps even your biggest videos (even if its for older tracks) and comment back to fans letting them know that you have new music coming and they can pre-save
